PHOTOS BY BRYAN DILLON, CSD PUBLIC INFORMATION OFFICER Clover High School’s Trunk or Treat is a student-run event that is connected to the last home game in October. Although it may be student-led, the idea was proposed by CHS teacher Michelle Vitaris. This year, the trunk or treat had some weather issues and had to be moved, but still had an amazing turnout. This change showed that even with difficulties, the community stays strong and comes together when it is necessary. There were over 100 students who participated in the organizing and planning of this event and around 34 participants for the trunks, which was a fantastic turnout for the Student Council. Trunk participants included businesses, school organizations and teachers. Even though advisors thought that the date change would affect the number of people attending, they were wrong; approximately 1,000 kids came to the event, which doubled last year’s attendance.
